Before you buy - Searching

Use the general search facility, at the top left of this page
If you know only the photographer’s surname, enter this and press the <Enter Key> or click the > symbol
If you know one or more forenames, enter these with the surname and press the <Enter Key> or click the > symbol
The search results will be presented in alphabetical order (by surname)
When IDENTICAL results are presented (i.e. photographer and town), this indicates that there are two or more addresses available for the same photographer in the same town and each address line will need to be purchased separately
Navigate the search results adding chosen data lines to the <Basket>
Each identified data line ends with icons representing the type of data available
Use the check out facility to register and purchase your selected data lines

After you buy - Downloading

You will almost immediately receive an e-mail with the required download link

Clicking the link will open your Web browser software and offer you the opportunity to either open the required document using MS Word or to download the document. We have tested this service with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome ... all available as free downloads

We recommend you select Save File which will download the document to your computer
Once you have downloaded the document you can open it in MS Word and edit, cut, copy and paste as necessary
You open the file once it has been downloaded either by 'double clicking' in the usual way, or from within your chosen application

Microsoft Windows Users
If you use Microsoft XP, Vista or the MS Windows 7 operating system and do NOT have MS Word available to you, there are alternatives which we have listed below. Downloaded software, and online web applications and services, usually require you agree to software licence terms. The decision to download software or to subscribe to an online service is yours, so too is the decision to agree to any software licence terms.

Microsoft offer a free MS Word Viewer program
Open Office is a free suite of programs capable of reading and writing Microsoft format 'office' files
An online application called Google Docs is also available free of charge

Apple Users

Apple users should not encounter any difficulties using this website or making a purchase
Apple offer a free browser called Safari and users of Safari should encounter no difficulties with this website

If you encounter difficulties opening your Digital Download

We have sought to make the information available to the widest possible audience, regardless of computer type, and in a format that is editable by the user.
